Description
A quick, 5-minute breakfast shake that combines almond butter, vanilla protein powder, and almond milk for a creamy, satisfying, and nutritious start to your day.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons almond butter
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- Optional: 1/2 frozen banana
- Optional: 1 handful spinach
- Optional: 1 teaspoon chia seeds
Instructions
- Stir almond butter well if separated. Peel and chunk banana if using fresh.
- Pour almond milk into the blender first to help blades spin freely.
- Add almond butter, protein powder, vanilla extract, and any fresh fruit or greens.
- Add ice cubes or frozen milk cubes on top.
- Blend on low speed to break up ice, then increase to high. Blend for 30-60 seconds until completely smooth.
- Taste and adjust consistency by adding more milk (if too thick) or ice (if too thin).
- Pour into a glass or travel cup and drink immediately.
Notes
For best texture, use frozen almond milk cubes or frozen bananas. Always add liquid to the blender first to prevent jamming. If using natural almond butter, stir it thoroughly before scooping. This shake is best consumed immediately.
