Frozen Blueberry Lemonade Vodka Slush

  • Author: Lina
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

A refreshing, three-step frozen cocktail made with frozen blueberries, vodka, and lemonade. This gluten-free and dairy-free slush is perfect for weeknight wind-downs or summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1.5 cups vodka
  • 1.5 cups lemonade
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness of lemonade)
  • Lemon wheels for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • Ice (optional, only if berries aren’t frozen enough)

Instructions

  1. If frozen blueberries are clumped, place them in a sealed bag and smash them with a rolling pin or heavy pan to break them up.
  2. Add the frozen blueberries to a high-speed blender first, followed by the vodka, lemonade, and simple syrup.
  3. Blend on low speed to break up the berries, then gradually increase to high speed. Blend for 30-60 seconds until a thick, slushy consistency is reached.
  4. Taste the slush and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more simple syrup, lemonade, or frozen berries as needed.
  5. Serve immediately in tall glasses, garnished with a lemon wheel and mint sprig if desired.

Notes

Use frozen berries instead of ice to prevent watering down the drink. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute vodka with extra lemonade or sparkling water. Freeze glasses beforehand for a colder drink. Add a pinch of salt to enhance flavor.
