Soft Cinnamon Sugar Breakfast Pull-Apart Bread

  • Author: Lina
  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Description

A soft, pillowy pull-apart bread made from simple store-bought biscuits, coated in cinnamon sugar, and drizzled with a sweet vanilla glaze. It is an easy, foolproof recipe perfect for lazy weekend brunches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (8 biscuits each) large refrigerated canned biscuits
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for dough)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar (for glaze)
  • 23 tablespoons milk or half-and-half
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon until evenly combined.
  3. Open biscuit cans. Cut large biscuits into quarters (or medium biscuits in half) to create bite-sized pieces.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the cut biscuits and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Toss until every piece is evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the coated biscuit pieces in the prepared baking dish in a single layer, leaving small spaces between them for expansion.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until tops are golden brown and centers are set. Tent with foil if browning too quickly.
  7. While baking, whisk confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, and 2 tablespoons of milk to create a drizzle-able glaze. Adjust milk for consistency.
  8. Remove bread from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the warm bread and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use fresh cinnamon and large round biscuits. The bread can be assembled the night before and refrigerated, then baked in the morning. Reheat leftovers in the microwave for 30-60 seconds to maintain softness.
